Soccer Recap: Hazleton Area Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hazleton Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crestwood Comets. Hazleton Area were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crestwood apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Hazleton Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Crestwood, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hazleton Area will challenge rival Wilkes-Barre at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crestwood is set to face off against their familiar foe Greater Nanticoke Area at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
