Orange Beach entered their tilt with Mineral Point on Wednesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pointers a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Makos, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Justine Henderson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katie King, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ava Hodo, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Orange Beach's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Mineral Point, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Orange Beach will square off against Cuba City at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mineral Point, they will welcome Barneveld at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
