Basketball Recap: Lathrop Makes It 16 in a Row on the Road

Lathrop won the last time they faced West Platte and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lathrop Mules escaped with a win against the West Platte Bluejays by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34.

Lathrop's win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for West Platte, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lathrop will venture away from home to face off against North Platte at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for West Platte, they are taking a road trip to square off against East Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
