Baseball Game Preview: Lyman Greyhounds vs. Winter Springs Bears

Lyman hasn't had much luck against Winter Springs recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lyman Greyhounds will head out on the road to take on the Winter Springs Bears at 6:00 p.m. This will be Lyman's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Friday just wasn't the day for Lyman's offense. They lost 10-0 to Oviedo on Friday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Greyhounds were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Winter Springs posted their closest win since April 22, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Lake Mary 4-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won three games in a row.

Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Winter Springs, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Lyman came up short against Winter Springs when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 7-2. Can Lyman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
