Munroe gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They never let the Rickards Raiders onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered an 8-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Mareli Jaramillo was the driving force of Munroe's attack as she scored both of Munroe's goals.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Munroe will venture away from home to take on St. John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rickards, they will take on Franklin County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
