Paradise Valley is 4-0 against Desert Edge since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Paradise Valley Trojans are taking a road trip to face off against the Desert Edge Scorpions at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Paradise Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Last Wednesday, Paradise Valley humbled North Canyon with a 71-38 victory. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Rattlers are ranked 207th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Desert Edge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Verrado 81-53.

Paradise Valley is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Desert Edge, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

Paradise Valley took their win against Desert Edge when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 62-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Paradise Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
