Volleyball Recap: Greece Arcadia Takes a Loss

Greece Arcadia kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Irondequoit Eagles. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 22 in a row.

Irondequoit found their leader in freshman Olivia Cooley, who had seven assists and three aces.

Looking ahead, Greece Arcadia will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Honeoye Falls-Lima at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give the Titans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Irondequoit, they have already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against West Genesee on the 30th.
