Softball Recap: St. Albert Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for St. Albert's offense. They came up short against the Missouri Valley Big Reds on Wednesday, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly eight runs.

St. Albert dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Missouri Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

St. Albert has already played their next contest, a 9-0 loss against Lewis Central on the 12th. As for Missouri Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Underwood on the 12th.
