Basketball Recap: Sahin Rodriguez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Carver High School of Engineering & Science over Constitution

Carver High School of Engineering & Science has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. The matchup between them and the Constitution Generals didn't end well, with Carver High School of Engineering & Science falling 55-41. If Carver High School of Engineering & Science was looking for revenge after losing 69-54 to them when the teams met on Thursday, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sahin Rodriguez, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Fareed Brown, who had 13 points.

Constitution's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nick Young, who earned eight points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Young a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Khair White-Blaylock, who put up seven points along with six boards and five assists.
