Softball Recap: Roosevelt Presidents vs. Rondout Valley Ganders        
        
		
            
 Roosevelt won against Wallkill  last Tuesday with eight  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Wednesday. The Roosevelt Presidents won by a  run and slipped past the Rondout Valley Ganders  8-7. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Roosevelt.
 The team  relied heavily on  Cali DeLawder, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Another player making a difference was  Jax Sweed, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Roosevelt has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. As for Rondout Valley, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
 Roosevelt will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Our Lady of Lourdes at 4:15  p.m. Roosevelt's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so Our Lady of Lourdes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Rondout Valley, they have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome New Paltz at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday.
