Baseball Recap: Cactus Shadows Wins Going Away Against Kofa

Cactus Shadows had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Kofa on Thursday. Everything went the Cactus Shadows Falcons' way against the Kofa Kings as the Cactus Shadows Falcons made off with an 11-4 win.

Jeremy Larson looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Cactus Shadows got a massive performance out of Aidan Klinefelter, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. Carter Brown was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Cactus Shadows always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kofa only posted an OBP of .231.

Cactus Shadows' record now sits at 2-0. As for Kofa, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Cactus Shadows and Kofa will both be playing Nogales the next time they take the field. Kofa will head out to face Nogales at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while Cactus Shadows will play them later in the day, at 3:45 p.m.
