They'll be talking about this play in Tennessee for years to come. Maybe even around the country.

Rather than go for a tie, Father Ryan (Nashville, Tenn.) went for the win and it paid off with a remarkable 23-yard run by Jackson Byrd off a fake field goal. Byrd took a toss from the holder on an end-around and scampered up the right side before a spin move got him to the end zone. It was the last play of the game in the Irish's 34-31 win over Ravenwood (Brentwood).

According to The Tennessean, it was Byrd's third touchdown of the night and came after driving 57 yards in eight plays. The Irish (3-3) lined up for a 40-yard field goal, but instead pulled off a play for the ages, dropping Ravenwood to 4-2.

It didn't come without a lot of practice, said coach Brian Rector.

"Honestly, it's a situation we've practiced every week, and we sure have messed it up a few times this year," he told the newspaper. "We finally got it right."
