Volleyball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

Brooks lost against Solorio back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sun Warriors.

Brooks was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23.

Brooks' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Solorio, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9-4 record this season.

Brooks will head out to challenge Chicago Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Solorio, they will welcome Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
