Soccer Recap: Lake Buena Vista Takes a Loss

Lake Buena Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Winter Park Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Vipers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 440th, while the Wildcats are ranked 49th).

Lake Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Winter Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Lake Buena Vista has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Edgewater on the 17th. As for Winter Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Lake Mary on the 17th.
