Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday George Van Dean stepped things up a notch to give St. Joseph's Prep the 'W'. Van Dean wasn't messing around, earning two runs and one stolen base. The contest was his ninth straight with at least one stolen base.

Van Dean and St. Joseph's Prep will head out on the road to take on Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Van Dean has dominated as far as stolen bases are concerned (he's averaged 1.5 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Friars/Pandas have only allowed 1.27 per game this season.
