Soccer Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Morgan managed to keep up with Syracuse until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Morgan Trojans lost 3-0 to the Syracuse Titans. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Titans when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Morgan dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Syracuse, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morgan will face off against Grantsville at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Morgan will be up against Grantsville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Syracuse, they will challenge Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Syracuse sitting on three straight victories and Westlake on four.
