Basketball Recap: Grandview Heights Takes a Loss

Grandview Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 60-45 to the Worthington Christian Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-42 back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Grandview Heights still got an impressive performance from Tatum Lusher, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 60% of Grandview Heights' points, marking the 13th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Claire Callif was another key player, putting up eight points.

Grandview Heights' record now sits at 3-10. As for Worthington Christian, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Grandview Heights will be playing at home against Bishop Ready at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Worthington Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Whitehall-Yearling at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitehall-Yearling is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season.
