Softball Recap: Del Valle Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Del Valle faced off against Dripping Springs on Friday. The Cardinals fell 8-3 to the Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Del Valle's loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1. As for Dripping Springs, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6-1.

Looking ahead, Del Valle will take on Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dripping Springs, they will square off against Weiss at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
