Baseball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Takes a Loss

Thomas Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 12-6 to the Fisher Gators. That's two games in a row now that Thomas Jefferson has lost by exactly six runs.

Kasen Rich made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Brayden Marvin also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Thomas Jefferson's record is now 4-18. As for Fisher, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-8-1.

While Thomas Jefferson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
