Volleyball Recap: Sartell-St. Stephen Beats Brainerd for Their Fourth Straight Win

Sartell-St. Stephen waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Brainerd Warriors. The Sabres not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sartell-St. Stephen was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.

Olivia Terhune paced Sartell-St. Stephen's offense, picking up 14 kills. Terhune got some help from Kate Thompson and her 29 assists. Gabi Schumann and Sydney Frieler kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Sartell-St. Stephen's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Brainerd, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
