 Austin got themselves on the board against James Clemens on Tuesday, but James Clemens never followed suit. They put the hurt on the James Clemens Jets with a sharp  15-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Austin.
  Claire Wright was a standout: she scored four  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Kinsley Higdon, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Austin has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 31-13-1 record  this season. As for James Clemens, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-20.
 Austin will challenge Oakland at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Austin is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8  runs per game  this season. As for James Clemens, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Florence at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
