Hudson Giddens posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Giddens' strong effort led St. Peter's Prep over North Bergen and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
