Baseball Recap: Godinez Fundamental Takes a Loss

Godinez Fundamental managed to slip by Santa Ana the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Grizzlies lost 8-2 to the Saints on Tuesday. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Saints earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Godinez Fundamental and nudges their season record down to 8-11. As for Santa Ana, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8-1 record this season.

Godinez Fundamental wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 defeat against Garden Grove on the 18th. As for Santa Ana, they are taking a road trip to square off against Valencia at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
