It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Trier had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Maine South Hawks as they made off with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for New Trier, who have now won 12 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

New Trier pushed their record up to 22-1-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those three games. As for Maine South, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7-3.

As of now, neither New Trier nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
