Basketball Recap: Madison Skates Past Normandy with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Howland, Madison was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Normandy Invaders, posting a 75-33 victory. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for the Blue Streaks this season.

Despite the loss, Normandy still got an impressive performance from Giana Carcioppolo, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 13 points. Angel Sochacki was another key player, putting up five points and seven rebounds.

Madison pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.5 points. As for Normandy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Madison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-17 victory against Lakeside on the 3rd. As for Normandy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-32 win against Buckeye on the 4th.
