There's no place like home for Oxnard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 38-0 win over the Buena Bulldogs. Considering the Yellowjackets have won 16 contests by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Oxnard's defense and their ten sacks. Alexa Salazar led the group effort, picking up four of those sacks all by herself. Ameerah Phillips got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Oxnard pushed their record up to 19-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.3 points over those games. As for Buena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Oxnard nor Buena have any future games scheduled.
