Baseball Recap: Lawrence Academy Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Lawrence Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past the Belmont Hill Sextants 6-5. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

John Paone tossed a big game, striking out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Blaisdell, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Lawrence Academy's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.
