Volleyball Recap: High Point Central Takes a Loss

If High Point Central was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southern Guilford on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bison lost 3-0 to the Central Davidson Spartans on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-14.

Central Davidson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cassidy Hayes out in front who had five aces. Those five aces gave Hayes a new career-high.

High Point Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Central Davidson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. High Point Central will take on rival Ledford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Davidson is set to face off against their familiar foe Lexington Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
