Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highlands). They walked away with a 52-44 win over the Swain County Maroon Devils on Monday. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Maroon Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Highlands now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Swain County, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Highlands is set to challenge their familiar foe Andrews at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Swain County will take on rival Nantahala at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
