Football Recap: Juarez Eagles vs. Manley Wildcats

While Juarez put up some points on Saturday, the same can't be said for Manley. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 22-0 margin over the Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three games by 22 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Juarez's win came down to the chemistry between Rosa Patino and her top target Britany Godoy. Patino rushed for 80 yards and one TD on only ten carries while Godoy picked up 100 receiving yards and one score. Godoy also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Juarez didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Nathaly Caracheo and Godoy. Another thorn in Manley's side was Julissa Romero, who picked up three sacks, made 16 total tackles (8.0 for loss), and defended one pass.

Juarez has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
