Football Recap: Zion Scott Leads Ringgold's Defense on Friday

If Bolton Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ringgold, they should've done a better job of containing Caden Allums. The Redskins simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bears 60-0 for which the team can thank Allums, who rushed for 258 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards.

Ringgold didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Zion Scott picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Ringgold's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Bolton Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Ringgold nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
