There's no place like home for Kings Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Alpaugh Buffalos on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Buffalos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kings Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-14.

Their offense was headlined by Avery Mathis and Bobbi Vickers, who picked up six kills apiece. Vickers really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 14. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 14 aces.

Alpaugh's loss came despite strong showings from Claribel Hernandez and Aydette Ontiveros. Hernandez had eight digs and three aces, while Ontiveros had three digs and two aces.

Kings Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Alpaugh, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
