Football Recap: Goldsboro Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Goldsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Spring Creek Gators 48-8. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gators apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Goldsboro still got an impressive performance from Jaylen Bowden, who rushed for 188 yards and one TD on only ten carries.

Goldsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Spring Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Coming up, Goldsboro will challenge Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Spring Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
