Volleyball Game Preview: Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack vs. Willowbrook Warriors

The Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack will face off against the Willowbrook Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Saint Ignatius College Prep is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Oak Park-River Forest, who was ranked 15th at the time (Saint Ignatius College Prep was ranked 14th). The Wolfpack took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies on Thursday.

While Saint Ignatius College Prep ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Willowbrook was able to grind out a solid win over Proviso East on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Willowbrook was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Willowbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 20-15.
