Softball Recap: Utica Comes Up Short

Utica was the 10-8 winner over Fredericktown when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Redskins fell just short of the Freddies by a score of 5-3 on Thursday.

Utica's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Utica didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 16-3 victory against East Knox on the 31st. As for Fredericktown, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Crestview on the 29th.
