Connetquot came tearing into Thursday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Huntington Blue Devils 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Connetquot was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-4.

Alexandra Patsos paced Connetquot's offense, picking up 21 kills. Patsos got some help from Leah White and her 30 assists. White also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kara Ryden, each putting up three.

Connetquot's record is now 20-2-1. As for Huntington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Connetquot will square off against Copiague at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Huntington, they will take on Kellenberg Memorial in a tournament on Saturday.
