Volleyball Recap: Paraclete Takes a Loss

Paraclete was the 3-1 winner over Pomona Catholic when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Spirits fell just short of the Pacers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Paraclete took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-19, 16-14.

Paraclete's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Pomona Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Paraclete and Pomona Catholic will both be playing Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary the next time they take the court. The Pacers will head out to face the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Spirits will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
