            Karns City has gone 8-1 against Cranberry Area recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. The Gremlins will venture away from home to  face off against the Berries  at 4:15  p.m. Karns City knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Cranberry Area likes a good challenge.
Cranberry Area's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them  on Wednesday: Karns City hadn't allowed a single  run the last three times they've hit the field. The Gremlins blew past Keystone 10-0 on Monday. The Gremlins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven  runs or more this season.

  Tyler Kelly was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  doubles, two  RBI,  and one  run. Those  two  doubles gave  him a new career-high.  Koen Williams was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Meanwhile,  Cranberry Area unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Monday. They took  a  5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Moniteau.
 Ben Lindenberg was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run any time he's  pitched this season.
 At the plate, Cranberry Area saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Blake Marchinke, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Karns City has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Cranberry Area, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
 Karns City was able to grind out a solid  win over Cranberry Area in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, winning  5-1.
