Basketball Recap: Brunswick Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Brunswick Christian Academy lost against Savannah Athletic Association back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Brunswick Christian Academy Eagles were dealt a 56-21 loss at the hands of the Savannah Athletic Association Jaguars. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Savannah Athletic Association's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chloe McNew, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 19 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which McNew has scored at least a third of Savannah Athletic Association's points. Another player making a difference was Natalie Santos, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Brunswick Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Savannah Athletic Association, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11.

Brunswick Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coastal HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Savannah Athletic Association, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-36 win against Holy Trinity Classical Christian on the 6th.
