Basketball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Pittsburg's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Pittsburg hadn't done well against Paden recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Pittsburg Panthers walked away with a 43-31 victory over the Paden Pirates. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 74-68 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Pittsburg has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Paden, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Pittsburg will square off against Crowder at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Crowder will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pittsburg surely won't give up without a fight. Paden has already played their next contest, a 48-36 win against Depew on the 4th.
