Basketball Recap: Rock Ridge Falls Short of Dominion in the Playoffs

Rock Ridge and Dominion squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Rock Ridge had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to the Dominion Titans. The Phoenix's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, Rock Ridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore A.K Mo shot 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 47.3% of Rock Ridge's points, marking the third time in a row Mo has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Rock Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Dominion, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-17.

As of now, neither Rock Ridge nor Dominion have any future games scheduled.
