Volleyball Recap: Wilbur-Creston-Keller Wins Going Away Against Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame

Wilbur-Creston-Keller won the last time they faced Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wilbur-Creston-Keller took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-15, 25-14.

Rocksie Timentwa paced Wilbur-Creston-Keller's offense, picking up seven kills. Timentwa got some help from Callie Cousins and her 17 assists. Timentwa also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lexi Rimpler, each putting up five.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wilbur-Creston-Keller will square off against rival Odessa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame is set to take on their familiar foe Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
