Kyler Ackert turned in his biggest game of the season on Monday, striking out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with five or more strikeouts. For the season, he has an ERA of 2.86 over 15.2 innings pitched.
