Volleyball Recap: Sharpsville Takes a Loss

Sharpsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Grove City Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

While Grove City got the win, Sharpsville sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 28-26, 11-25, 25-12, 27-25.

Sharpsville's record now sits at 2-14. As for Grove City, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-14-1.

As of now, neither Sharpsville nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
