Baseball Recap: Branson Comes Up Short

Branson lost to Kickapoo back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Chiefs, falling 14-3. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Branson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kickapoo, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Branson will head out to take on Springfield Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Kickapoo, they will host Kearney at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Chiefs surely won't give up without a fight.
