Center Point-Urbana had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Independence Mustangs 70-33. The Stormin' Pointers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Center Point-Urbana has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Independence, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Point-Urbana will square off against Solon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Independence, they will challenge Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
