Volleyball Recap: Sutton Comes Up Short at Home Against Wachusett Regional + How To Watch

Sutton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers on Wednesday. The Sammies/Suzies haven't had much luck with the Mountaineers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

While Sutton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Wachusett Regional's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-19, 25-21.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sutton will challenge Southbridge at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Wachusett Regional, they will square off against Nashoba Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Mountaineers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
