Baseball Recap: ABF Academy Homestead Comes Up Short

The ABF Academy Homestead Bandits came up short against the North Broward Prep Eagles on Wednesday, falling 12-3. The Bandits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nathan Castillo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. He also put up two hits, which werehis first of the season.

ABF Academy Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Broward Prep, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, ABF Academy Homestead will venture away from home to challenge Key West at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Broward Prep, they will welcome American Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
