Christ the Cornerstone Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Marlboro Academy Dragons by a score of 5-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-4 last Thursday.

Christ the Cornerstone Academy's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Inman, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Inman is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

Christ the Cornerstone Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Marlboro Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Christ the Cornerstone Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mintz Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th.
