Basketball Recap: South's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

South's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Milwaukee Madison Knights a 2-0 shutout. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got South back to even at 3-3.

South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-24 loss against Hamilton/Audubon on the 16th. As for Milwaukee Madison, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
